Key loggers are small programs installed on your computer without your knowledge while your using the internet. They run on your computer in the background recording every key you press sending the information out on the internet for the programmer to read. If you enter passwords or credit card details while infected with a key logger you would be in serious trouble as the hacker whom wrote the key logger could gain access to your bank and website admin areas.
That it why being rather paranoid myself I wrote the Virtual Keyboard. Key loggers can not track mouse clicks, so use this keyboard to enter credit cards and bank passwords etc, click Copy To Clipboard and go to your required website or program and paste the results into the required fields. Even with a key logger running on your machine you would be 100% safe.
